Kaufman County Day Registration has begun . . . 

On March 18^th & 19^th over 100 people from Kaufman County will exercise their rights as Texas Citizens and go to Austin to meet with our representation.  This is a great opportunity to not only visit with our state representation, but to meet and network with people from all over the county.  Kaufman County Day in Austin starts with a reception on Sunday evening, which all State Representatives, Senators and their staffs are invited to, as well as several State offices.  On Monday morning, a breakfast is held with our representation and a keynote speaker, who in the past has been one of the top office holders in Austin.  We have had the Lt. Governor and the State Comptroller in recent years.  Following that, participants attend various state agency meetings.  For a registration form or information, call the Kaufman Chamber office at 972/932-3118.  If you have never been, please try to join us this year.
